Job Description

Transcription Express, Inc. is a well-established transcription services provider that  has been in business since 1995.  We specialize in verbatim interview style transcription for large corporations.  We currently work with over 195 Contractor Transcriptionists who process over 18,000 transcripts per month.

We are looking to contract with an experienced and reliable Spanish translator/transcriptionist who is available to take a minimum of 60 (part-time) and up to 120 (full-time) audio minutes five days a week, Monday through Friday.  To qualify for this contract, you must be able to pass a Spanish language test administered by The Language Testing Institute scoring in the top four levels for both speaking and writing.  Transcription Express will underwrite the cost of the test for qualified finalists for this contract position.

Our system is simple: Contract translator/transcriptionists can download Client audio files via the internet to their computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via our online digital system.  Transcriptionists are able to work on their transcripts in the comfort of their own home or office.  When transcripts are completed, they must be uploaded back to Transcription Express within 24-hours of receipt. Equipment is minimal, but should include a PC or laptop with the Windows 10Pro operating system and high-speed internet. A digital footpedal, headset and pipeline/license is required to access our system.
